Traveling and visiting friends on the weekend

I mostly go to Seoul, Uijongbu & Daejeon on the weekends.
Uijongbu is north east of Seoul, and I go to Uijongbu Community Church
there every other Sunday. Other Sundays, I go to Christian International Church
in Daejeon, because it is closer to Nonsan (where I live). I usually just go to Daejeon on Sundays, whereas if I go to Uijongbu it is a weekend trip.

Daejeon has a lot to offer and it is only 40 minutes away by train.
Of course that doesn't count the 1/2 hour walking and catching the city bus
to get from the university to the train station :P

All in all it is good. I take the train to Daejeon in the morning, go to church,
sometimes I do a bit of shopping or catch a movie, stop in at COSTCO
and then catch the train home!

Yes they have costco here. So, I am able to get fresh light rye bread, bagals,
bonbons and all manner of foreign and domestic things!

Fun in the sun? Not until August! It is Monsoon season right now!
